Super Happy Hacker House 22 – The Egg drop edition.
What:
VHS will be opening its doors for another awesome Super Happy Hacker House (SHHH). Shhh is a day of hacking, show-n-tell, and socializing. Bring a project you’re working on, or just come down and find out what Vancouver’s hackers, crafters, and makers are working on. This time we will be starting early (12 noon) so we can hack on our projects all day!
We will be hosting a egg drop contest. Teams will be asked to build a egg transport vehicle (ETV) that can carry an egg from the height of ~8 meters safely to the ground below. The Egg drop contest will start around 7:30pm. Rules for the egg drop contest
Around 6pm we will stop for dinner with a Peroggiegeddon! ~10 bags of store bought perogies. Sour cream may be provided, No bacon unless you bring your own.
After the egg drop we will stay open till 1am (or longer) for hacking socializing.

Will there be fried onions to go with the pierogies?
Currently partway through “Crocheting Adventures with Hyperbolic Planes” by Daina Taimina. It’s given me a couple of ideas for crochet-based ETV’s. I’m just not sure I could get them done in time.
If you bring the onions we can fry them up for you.
A crochet Egg drop would be awesome.
Hope to see you there
